24 hours’ notice is required for cancellation or you may lose any deposit paid. For tables over 8 people, 5 days notice is required for cancellation or you will lose your deposit. For tables over 10 or exclusive use of areas, we ask for two weeks notice to avoid losing your deposit as a loss of such a booking affects a small business a lot.

We ask all guests to respect the cafe grounds and indoor spaces. Please park carefully and do not allow your children to play in the car park. Due to our position behind the hotel, we ask that the noise be kept down so all guests can enjoy their visit. 

We reserve the right to increase prices between the booking date and the date of visit and cannot ‘honour’ prices at the time of booking. We try to avoid price increases but sometimes they are inevitable.

Please note that we often take photos for marketing purposes. If you do not wish for you or your child to be included, please notify us. If you are not the guardian of a child that is with you and cannot give permission, please also let us know so that we can exclude them from photography. Note we also have CCTV in operator for the safety of our customers and staff.

STRICTLY no external food or drink is to be consumed at the cafe or on the cafe grounds. This includes cakes and drinks. Food may be brought with you for infants and very young children.

Please notify us of any allergy or dietary requirements on arrival. For afternoon teas, please advise of dietary requirements at least 48 hours prior to your booking.

Please note that we cannot guarantee to fulfil requests written in your booking comments, although we always try. If in doubt, please call us. Specific tables and cafe areas (cafe, bus, barn etc) can be requested but CANNOT be guaranteed. The booking system selects your table based on the number of people, children and the booking specifics. We reserve the right to move your booking between areas and tables if the business requires it.
