We’ve got lots planned for Mother’s Day this year. As well as our Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea, we’ve got a range of workshops and events planned so you can treat mum and spend some time together doing something that you’ll love!
Floristry workshop
On Saturday 18th March Anna is running an intro to floristry workshop covering the conditioning of flowers, how to make a hand-tied bouquet and gift wrap it. An hour-long session, taking place in the Barn at Blooms. Dress warmly. A hot drink is provided. £50 per person including the bouquet to take home and enjoy.
Painting workshop
a wonderful experience to celebrate the amazing mothers and carers in our lives. The Friday workshop is suitable for adults with children 6-16. The Sunday workshop is suitable for adults with over 16s.
You will enjoy a mini afternoon tea and drink while Susannah demonstrates how to paint a beautiful vase of flowers, and then it’s your turn to create a canvas masterpiece. You can choose from a vibrant range of acrylic paints in your duo of pictures. You also get to take home the jar of flowers that inspire your artwork.
Even if you feel you are not very good at art, we can guarantee you will enjoy the process and be proud of your work.
This experience will cost £30 for mum and child plus £10 per additional child booking.
Crepe Paper Peony Class
On Wednesday 15th March, treat Mum to a lovely morning creating a stunning Peony from crepe paper with Wendy from The Paper Flowers Company.
